President
Tony Arts
Tony’s ascent to executive vice president transpired rapidly since joining Terra in 2010 as a project manager. In his current role, Tony oversees engineering, estimating and project management. He continues to be instrumental in forming the future of the company.
Tony received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Tony holds a Wisconsin Professional Engineers license in Civil Engineering.
Chief Financial Officer
Donna Kopp
As chief financial officer, Donna leads the accounting, finance and administrative departments. Since starting her career with Terra in 1995 as a staff accountant, Donna has evolved in roles and responsibilities to become a key component in the future of the company.
Donna is a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in accounting. She holds a Wisconsin CPA designation.
Scott Zimmerman
As a visionary for Terra’s continued success, Scott has been innovative in moving the company into niche markets as current markets become flooded with competition. Since being named CEO in 2008, Scott has strategically driven the company in terms of growth and complexity.
Scott received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a Wisconsin Professional Engineers license in Civil Engineering.
Chief Operating Officer
Gary Zimmerman
Gary’s long history with Terra begins as a teen working in the field and shop. Today as COO, he is responsible for providing overall direction to those areas. His area of emphasis includes managing the physical assets of the company and overseeing the daily operations of the field and shop.
Gary is a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
Construction and Engineering Manager
Ryan English
Ryan has been a part of the Terra team since 2014. He worked as a Project Coordinator from 2014 till 2018 and Project Manager from 2018 to 2022. He has been involved with the American Society of Civil Engineering since college and continues to be an active member of the organization.
Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the UW – Milwaukee. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Wisconsin.
Estimating Manager
Chris Havey
Chris has had the experience of working as an estimator at Terra since 2015. His extensive knowledge of the industry keeps projects on time and on budget.
He holds an Associates degree in Civil Engineering from Moraine Park Technical College.
Construction Operations Manager
Seth Zimmerman
Seth brings many years of experience within the family-owned business. He joined Terra in 2012 as a Project Manager.
Seth holds a Bachelors of Science in Construction Management degree from University of Wisconsin-Stout. He is also an AGC Leadership Graduate.
